Speaking at php|tek!
If anybody has been paying attention, the php|tek schedule has been posted for a while.
If you look closely, you’ll notice that I will be speaking twice at the conference. Once on the topic of “Migrating to PHP 5.1″ and then a second time on “Future Deployment of PHP Applications”. This will include a look at what this means to you, your company and of course, your code.
The first talk will cover moving from PHP 4 to PHP 5.1, and will also spend some time on going over some of the finer differences between PHP 5.0 and 5.1.
The second talk will cover PEAR Channels, including Chiara_PEAR_Server and Crtx_PEAR_Channel_Frontend. More excitingly I will also be spending a lot of time giving what is probably the first talk on PHP_Archive/PHAR.
So, if you’ve coming to php|tek, I’ll see you there. If you haven’t yet decided, perhaps the chance of meeting me will sway you.
As I live just 90 miles from Orlando I will be there for the full 4 days hopefully, at least, I will be there April 26th – April 28th, but I hate to miss out on the first day seminars which look to be awesome, though I can’t decide between Marcus’ and Dericks.

P.S.
Don’t forget the First Tampa Bay PHP Meetup is tonight!

@dshafik And having any disease increase a researchers chance of finding better treatment - let alone a "cure".

@dshafik But I also call: *shenanigans*! Cause one's own mental strengths won't help one survive anything.
@uberChick [10 hours ago]
@dshafik I think I get your point. Critical thinking will help one find the best available treatment and that will increase one's chances.

@uberChick mental strength can help you win... i.e. smarts can find a cure. :)
